At the September meeting, the Trilogy Tennis Club recognized Chuck Williams for all his work for the club and its members.
Sandy Price presented Chuck with a certificate of appreciation and Lifetime Membership.
Chuck has been a mainstay of the club. He is the guy who keeps things working: the ball machine, the court clocks, you name it. Chuck is the man.
Always thinking of ways to help, Chuck came up with the idea of recycling our cans and bottles and using the proceeds to keep the club supplied with tennis balls. Not only did he have the idea, he made it happen. For years, Chuck has been collecting, sorting and recycling our cans and bottles to the tune of over $6K!!
Members were given an opportunity to share their memories and experiences with Chuck.
A generous soul, Chuck is always willing to help. If you need a tool, Chuck will loan it to you. If you don't know how to use it, he'll show you.
For many of us, Chuck was the guy who welcomed us into the club and made us feel at home.
